The Department of Statistics was established in the year 1977. Dr. K. M. Apte was the founder head of the department. Currently, Mrs. Pallavi Rege is the department head. There are four faculty members in the department. The department offers Statistics at UG level for B.Sc. The department has well equipped classroom. Apart from this, the department library has fairly rich collection of books.
