Aruna Sairam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science (Chemistry and Botany) from SIES College and followed it up with M.A. in Music and B.Ed. She is a trained Carnatic vocalist, composer, collaborator, humanitarian and a very good orator. The London Evening Standard has called her the "New Queen of Soul", comparing her with Aretha Franklin. She has been recently honoured with the French government’s highest honour- Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des award (2022)
He is an Executive Chairman of Excel Industries and is with the company for more than 50 years. He has been richly recognized for his contributions to the growth of the Indian Chemical industry and received the ICC Lifetime achievement award. He is a member of SIES Past Students Association and helped us in various projects including for Kerala Flood Relief operation
Hariharan completed Bachelor of Science from SIES College. He is renowned Playback, Bhajan, Ghazal Singer and recognized for the versatility in singing in various Indian languages. He is one the pioneers in Indian Fusion Music due to his various National and International collaborations. He has also been honoured with Highest Civilian Kalaimamani Award in 2005 and Yesudas Award in 2004. He inaugurated 2010 commonwealth Games with his composition and performance of "Swaghatham" song.
Outstanding, courageous sincere officer posted in 7th Maratha Light Infantry. Sacrificed his life for the country at Pathankot on 10th February 2002. Captain S Srinivas was born on 08th July 1972. Since, his childhood, he was inspired to join the armed forces and joined the Army after completing his education. He was commissioned into the 7th Battalion of Maratha Light Infantry Regiment, the regiment known for his valiant soldiers and various battle honours. During 2002, Captain S Srinivas's unit was deployed in J&K as a part of Op Parakram. Captain S Srinivas while engaged in a counter-insurgency operation laid down his life in service of the nation on 10th February 2002

He completed his schooling from SIES (South Indian Education Society) High School, Mumbai in 1963. He then went on to do his graduation in science from SIES college in 1968.

Her expertise lies in the area of haemostasis and thrombosis and cell derived microparticles. She completed her PhD in Applied Biology from ICMR-NIIH, University of
Mumbai. She is a recipient of INSA Young Scientist Award in the year 2017.She has more than 35 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Nirupama Mankad is a former Indian tennis player. She is the first Indian woman in the modern era to play at a main draw of a Grand Slam. Mankad won the Asian women's tennis championship in 1965 at the age of 17. She played Wimbledon junior event in 1965 and partnered Anand Amritraj in the mixed doubles event in 1971, reaching the second round. She was India's top ranked tennis player between 1965 and 1978, winning the national championship seven times during this time. She won the Indian government's Arjuna award in 1980.
Prakash Subramanian, CEO at Millennium Capital, the largest Global Hedge Funds, Headquarters in New York USA. He was a former managing committee member of SIES PSA. Prakash spent over three decades with ANZ Grindlays Bank and Standard Chartered Bank across Investment Banking and Treasury. Prakash is also the Advisor to the Chairman -International Financial Services Centre Authority formed by the Prime Minister and also Co-Chair of the India-UK Financial Partnership Group on Gift City.
Shankar Mahadevan completed Higher Secondary Education in Science from SIES College. He is a Singer-cum-music Composer, an actor and popular as Indi pop Star with fusion of Carnatic, Hindustani and Jazz. He is also a recipient of Swaralaya-Kairali Yesudas Award in 2007 for his contribution to Indian Film Music.
Shreya Ghoshal holds a Bachelor Degree in English Literature from SIES College. She is noted for her wide vocal range and versatility right from a very young age. She is the only prolific Indian artist to have won all the six major music awards in India.
Suma Shirur holds a Bachelor's degree in Science (Chemistry). She has to her credit several accolades both at the State and National levels in the Air rifle sport. She made her name at the international stage by winning medals at Asian Games in Busan (2002), Commonwealth Games in Manchester (2002), Asian Athletics Championships in Kuala Lumpur (2004) and Championships in Bangkok (2005). She was honoured with the Arjuna award by the Government of India in 2003. She is the High Performance coach of the Indian Rifle shooting team.
