National seminar The Dept. of Hindi and the Export Import Bank of India (EXIM Bank) jointly organized a national seminar on the topic Bhartiya gyan prampara samruddh virasat va ujjwal bhavishya to celebrate international mother language day on 4th March, 2024. The seminar was divided by four sessions resource persons like Prof. Devi N Ganesh , Prof. (Dr.) Ujjwala Chakradev (VC, SNDT University ), Ila Arun (theatre & film personality )Dr. T P Shashikumar , Shri Khalid Quaiser( ADG Police Maharashtra ) , Dr. S.P. Dubey, Dr. Satish Pandey , Dr. Rajendra Srivastav, Dr. Rekha Sharma & Dr. Usha Mishra have shared there expertise on Indian knowledge system. The key note address was delivered by Dr. Uma Shankar (Principal, SIES College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Autonomous ). Harsha Bangari (Managing Director of EXIM Bank) welcomed the dignitaries & participations. Dr. Dinesh Pathak & Shri Navendu Bajpyee proposed the vote of thanks. The seminar was well attended by academicians, bankers & students of different colleges of Mumbai University & SNDT University.

Workshop The Dept. of Hindi with the Dept. of Mass Media jointly organized one day workshop on the topic Anuvaad va Hindi Ptrakarita ke liye aavshyak kaushal va rozgaar ki sambhavanayein on 28th Feb. , 2024 Shri Bhuvendra Tyagi (Editor, Dainik Bhaskar, Mumbai Edition) & Shrimati Chhaya Puranik (Chief Manager Official Language Central Bank of India ) were the resource persons of the workshop. Chhaya puranik with help of PPT presented different skills & carrier avenues in the field of translation. Shri Bhuvendra Tyagi shared his expertise in the field of reporting, editing, page designing & feature writing in the field of journalism. Dr. Dinesh Pathak introduced the resource persons & Dr. Vanita Rane welcomed the resource persons. The workshop was well attended by the students.
