7th September 2024, Chemistry Department

During the pandemic in the year 2021-2022 department of Chemistry had given an option to all SYBSc and TYBSc Chemistry students to prepare a presentation on various topics of Chemistry on the basis of their application in advanced chemistry topics. They were given a choice to use any technical software to create their own video in the presentation as a presenter of the topic.

These uncertain times have left students anxious about their future career prospects. ▪ In order to help them gain a new perspective from a professional on the current situation of the corporate world and other related aspects the team came up with the idea of a webinar on similar lines. ▪ Thus in collaboration with Career Launcher Educate Limited a webinar titled Upskill came into being. ▪ Through the webinar we aimed to guide students on how they can utilize the current lockdown period to improve and polish their skills by making the best of all available resources. ▪ Thus prepare themselves for the post covid job market.

PPT Presentation on Tourism

27th September 2020, Commerce Association

An online presentation competition on account of World Tourism Day to dig in knowledge with respect to tourism and types of tourism like business tourism, spiritual tourism, leisure tourism, adventure tourism, nomad tourism, etc. among the participants. The participants were asked to present their PPT by sharing their screen which was judged by Out of 8 participants, 2 winners were announced based on their presentation slides, knowledge and explanation. The competition encouraged the participants to research and learn about strategic tourism and its importance. It also allowed the audience to watch the presentations and know about various tourism options and types.

Online PPT Presentation Competition on Tourism was organized to test creativity, presentation skills and geographical understanding of students from all streams on account of World Tourism Day on 27 th September, 2020. The event received 8 participants.

Theme of Awareness of trends in technology Number of Participants: 225 Department of Botany organised a National Webinar on Thrastochytrids: The saga of discovery and production of DHA, the essential PUFA of human nutrition in association with Mycolgical Society of India, (Mumbai Unit). It was held online through MS Teams platform on Sunday, 20th September 2020 from 11.00am to 12.30pm. renowned mycologist, Dr. Seshagiri Raghukumar, Chief Scientific Officer, Myko Tech Private Limited, Goa, was invited as the guest speaker.

A Talk on ‘Citizen Administration Interface -A Case of Khaana Ch

5th September 2020, Politics Department

Ms. Mithila Naik-Satam, a volunteer engaged with fundraising, partnership implementations at NGO Khana Chahiye Foundation conducted an online session followed by a Q&A session. Ms. Naik-Satam shared her experiences working at the Foundation and dealing with government authorities. She focused on cooperative and collaborative instances of her work.
