In recent times, the demand for skilled software developers has surged, and the ability to program in languages such as C++ has become a valuable asset for graduating students entering the workforce. Recognizing this need, the decision was made to organize a one-day C++ training program for graduating students pursuing degrees in science and related fields. The background for this training program stems from the understanding that C++ is a versatile and widely-used programming language with applications in various domains, including software development, game development, system programming, and more. Equipping graduating students with a solid foundation in C++ is not only in line with industry demands but also enhances their employability and readiness for real-world coding challenges. The training aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge acquired during academic studies and practical skills required in professional settings. By offering a comprehensive overview of C++ fundamentals, control flow and object-oriented programming, the program aimed to empower participants with the confidence and competence needed to tackle programming tasks in their future careers. In summary, the background for the one-day C++ training program is rooted in the growing importance of programming skills in the job market and the desire to provide graduating students with a valuable skill set that aligns with industry demands
