National Unity day was celebrated in the form of a marathon to celebrate the spirit of unity on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel. 45 Volunteers participated in the marathon to celebrate the spirit of unity.

Bhondla

A Marathi cultural program ‘ Bhondla’ was conducted to help orient students with the traditional heritage of Maharashtra. Traditional ‘hadga’ songs and stories were told to the students by the staff members and students performed dance on the songs as well. More than 50 students participated.

Dengue Awareness

The volunteers were educated about the diseases like Dengue by doctors at Matunga dispensery and were told about the preventive measures. Volunteers were educated about precautions and control measures for dengue.

Visit to Bhakti Vedanta institute, ISCON

The Dept. organized a visit to ISCON, Bhakti Vedanta Institute where students interacted with the Director of Center for consciousness and semantics study, Dr. Ravi Gomatham on ‘An orientation on philosophy of Consciousness’ and visit to library.30 students and 3 staff members and it was indeed informative and research oriented.

Diabetes Camp
