FYBMM PANEL DISCUSSION

1st October 2017, Bachelor Of Mass Media(bmm) Department

On the first of October 2017, an activity based on panel discussion was conducted with the FYBMM students of SIES college. This panel discussion in SIES college was organised with the main objective of providing a contemporary view on various current issues. This enthralling activity took place in the presence and guidance of Sanam ma’am on a Sunday in room number 2, from 12 pm to approximately 5 pm.

DASHAIN-DUSSEHRA

‘Dashain-Dussehra’ was celebrated in Chembur on 27th October, 2015 in collaboration with the Twin Club of Swayambhu, Nepal. The main aim of the event was to bring about togetherness and celebrate the festival of Dussehra giving the message that the good always wins over the evil.

END POLIO NOW

24th October 2015, ROTARACT CLUB

Rotary International made huge efforts to eradicate polio from our country. In 2014, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced India as polio free. As a give-back to the Rotary foundation for its immense efforts, the Rotaract Club of SIES College collaborated with Dhanalaksmi Srinivasan College of Engineering and Technology, our sister club to contribute towards the Polio eradication movement. The event commenced on 24th October, 2015 and its main aim was to spread awareness about the ways of eradicating polio. We decided to donate a sum of 100$ to Rotary International.

SPLASH IT

23rd October 2015, ROTARACT CLUB

The main aim of the event was to help the students learn different shading techniques and lettering forms. This was a Graffiti workshop which was a part of the event series ‘Unique Perfection’.

STAY FREE

7th October 2015, ROTARACT CLUB

The motive behind this event was to aware the girls of the school about the menstrual cycle and hormonal changes by providing them sanitary napkins.

Trust Value

5th October 2015, Value Lab

Conducted a survey on’Trust vs Mistrust’ on SIES school students. 2. Students made posters and wrote articles on the value to spread awareness in college.(This value was for the month Sept to Nov)

Gandhi Jayanthi Elocution Competition

2nd October 2015, Philosophy Department

Mr. Saurabh Rajput was awarded the First Prize in the event organised by Gandhi Smarak Nidhi, Mumbai
