Introduction:

The Department of Chemistry was established in the year 1960 with the inception of the institution. Over the years we have taken a pragmatic, proactive and progressive step to increase the interest of subject through advance technological means.

Course Outcome:

• The undergraduate syllabi takes care of the current needs of the learners by implementing the continuous evaluation pattern which enables the learner to be thorough in the field of chemistry and encourages continuous learning. The curriculum is designed in such way that it prepares the students for State, National and International level competitive exams.
• Our syllabus is prepared in such a manner that it also promotes the students to pursue their future career in research or a career in industry. We have received UGC, DBT, STAR and FIST grant to strengthen the practical skills and theoretical knowledge of learners and to enhance research activities.
