Library

The Library of SIES College was inaugurated by Shri Y.B. Chavan – Chief Minister of Maharashtra State on 19th July, 1960 and a princely sum of Rs. 35,000/- was spent on the purchase of books and periodicals for the academic year of 1960-1961. 1,100 students made use of the library facilities and approximately 50 books were issued daily. The Library is now 53 years old and issues approximately 225 books / CD’s daily. For smooth functioning of the library and for the benefit of the students, the library is divided into two full units. The circulation area on the second floor consists of the reference section, section for competitive exams and research cubicles.
