The Department of Mass Media of SIES College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Sion (W), (Autonomous) conducted a Clever Harvey Demo Lecture for the students of SYBAMMC on 20th December 2021.
Dr. Rajalakshmi Amudan lecture series is organized every year by the Department of Biotechnology, SIES College of Arts, Science & Commerce College (Autonomous), Mumbai and is supported by SIES College Past Students’ Association. Alumni of the department are invited to present different opportunities in the field of biotechnology and share their expertise.
National Mathematics is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Ramanujan, one of the greatest Indian Mathematicians. The session started with a brief description about the life of Ramanujan by Deep Bhavesh Padharia, a student of SYBSc. This was followed by talk by the resource person, Anoop Skaria Varghese. The title of the talk was ‘Mystical Numbers’. The talk was based on introduction to certain numbers of special form like Mersenne Numbers, Fermat Numbers, Perfect Numbers, Amicable Numbers, etc. and their applications.
