Department of Physics in association with “Microbyte Solution”, Research and Development Head “Balkrishna Wagle” organized a program titled “Getting Started with Raspberry Pi”. Program started from 17th March 2021. All lectures were held online through MS-Teams daily from 2pm to 4pm. A total of 50 participants registered for the program. 32 students from T.Y.B.Sc. (Physics) and 8 students from M.Sc.Part-II (Physics) and 10 from M.Sc.Part-I (Physics). A total of 13 lectures with 30 total contact hours were conducted. Study material was shared on MS-Teams. There was a plan to conduct demonstration using Raspberry Pi kit in college laboratory. However, due to pandemic conditions, demonstration had to be conducted online. In this program students learned the Linux operating system, Python programming language and interfacing different peripherals with raspberry pi. The evaluation of the MSc.P2 students was done on the basis of Viva Voce. (17th March 2021 – 1st April 2021)
The Tattvam Philosophy Association organized the talk session to set a tone for peer learning. It also highlighted the advantages and perils of the web, and how netizens can undertake measures to safeguard their digital identity. The session was conducted on Ms. Teams. The session concluded with an overwhelming discussion from the student participants.

The speaker shared his life experiences and insights about regional cinema, the struggles he faced and the opportunities he sought to portray the societal issues through his lens with an optimism to bring about a paradigm shift in the society on issues like casteism, reservation, mental health etc. Student participants engaged a meaningful conversation with the speaker, through the question and answer session of the event
