NSS unit collected and segregated plastic, metal and paper waste from college campus. The segregated waste was disposed of safely with the help of Stree Mukti Sanghatana (SMS). College students were given the message about proper segregation and disposal of waste. Waste disposed is 306Kg.

A street-play was performed at Sion railway station to create awareness on the importance of trees plantations. Awareness was created about importance and necessity of conservation of trees.
Aarsha Vidya Foundation and S.I.E.S College organized workshop for the students, from July 2016 to August 2016. It aimed at developing leadership quality and skill enhancement. Around 30 students participated in the workshop.

An Orientation lecture with a power point presentation was delivered on 16th July 2016, for the students of FY BSc Physics students. The main aim of such a lecture from Dr. Sonali Ambardekar, the practical in-charge for the class, was to ensure that no student of FY BSc class would default in practicals.
