The Professional Development Avenue of the Rotaract Club of SIES College initiated ‘ART ATTACK’ on 4th September, 2015. The motto of the event was to help the students learn more about T-shirt and shoes customization and enunciates ideas about how to add zing to their old T-shirts and shoes.
Mr Manan Y Doshi and Sabina Bhanpurwala were invited to give the seminar on Family business. EDC took an initiative to conduct this seminar along with BMS department.
‘Celebrating The Bond’ was initiated as an attempt to celebrate the Friendship Day week and promote the RC SIES Instagram Page.
The members of RC SIES, Sion decided to express their gratitude to the teachers. The members made some handmade cards wishing them a very Happy Teacher's Day. Inside each card, a beautiful quote was drafted expressing our how grateful we are to them.
It was was a team event.3 topics were given to the contestants and they had to prepare on all three topics as the eliminations were conducted and then the final round in which only 2 teams faced each other. The judges for the event were Dr. Asha Venkatramana, HOD, Maths Dept. and Ms. Sudha B., IT Dept. The theme of the dabate was Women's Development.
Students spoke on the topic for 3 minutes. Ms. Seema C. Assistant Professor– English dept. ,degree college adjudged the event in which there were 24 participants. The theme of the debate was Women's Development.
Logo Designing competition was organized under Utkarsha in which the participants created logos for a service ‘Food Chain’.
Under Utkarsh 2015, Literary and Fine Arts events, an Intra-collegiate event was organized in which the participants recited poems on the theme’ Paaus’ (rains)

An intercollegiate two days event during "UTKARSH" 2015. This event included two competitions and one "Career oriented seminar for all science students".

EDC Food Stall-The basic aim behind this stall was to develop marketing and selling skills among the budding entrepreneurs and to help them learn through practical experiences.
Exposure to international scenarios is a crucial stepping stone for every Rotaractor. The International Service Avenue of RCSIES Sion (w) thus decided to celebrate The World Tourism Day on 8th September in a unique way with the event of Walk the Globe. The event was all about learning different cultures and traditions of people across the globe. By gleaning at other international lifestyles, the aim was to foster a sense of fraternity and acceptance of different cultures.
A team event ’Breaking News’ was organized under Utkarsha in which the participating teams enacted the news release of the topics given to them in a creative and humorous way.
Under Utkarsh 2015, Literary and Fine Arts events, an Intra-collegiate elocution competition was organized in which the participants were given a topic and were to speak extempore on it.

The event was celebrated to make people aware about the importance of literacy. India is the 2nd largest country in terms of population but the literacy rate of people does not say so not only India but there are many other countries which have low literacy rate.And this is one of the biggest hindrance for the country’s progress. Lens to literacy was a bridge from misery to hope.
